Stripe Connect and deposits
How to receive your appointment deposits directly with DUBHCORE.
Stripe Connect is used in DUBHCORE exclusively to manage deposits for appointments. It is not used to pay for the DUBHCORE subscription. Each artist can connect their own Stripe account and directly receive the deposits for appointments assigned to them.
1. Connect your Stripe account
Open the payments/deposits section in DUBHCORE and select the option to connect Stripe. You'll be guided through the Stripe Connect setup process. Stripe may request the information needed to verify the account holder's identity and configure payments. Once the connection is complete, DUBHCORE can use that account for deposits on appointments assigned to you.
2. The deposit follows the assigned artist
DUBHCORE determines the deposit recipient based on the artist assigned to the appointment. Example: appointment assigned to Andrea → deposit goes to Andrea's Stripe Connect account. Appointment assigned to Veronika → deposit goes to Veronika's Stripe Connect account. Each artist therefore uses their own Stripe Connect account.
3. If the client doesn't choose an artist
If the client sends a request without indicating a preference, the studio can assign the artist later from the management area. Any deposit will go to the artist who is assigned to the appointment. Before requesting a deposit, it's therefore important to check that the assigned artist is the correct one.
4. Decide whether to request a deposit
During the appointment acceptance/management flow, the studio or artist can set the deposit amount provided by DUBHCORE's current flow. If you want to request a deposit, enter the desired amount. If you do NOT want to request any deposit, simply set: €0. In this case the appointment can be managed without any advance payment via Stripe.
5. The client pays the deposit
When the appointment includes a deposit greater than €0, the client can complete the payment through the Stripe flow provided by DUBHCORE. The payment is directed to the assigned artist's Stripe Connect account. DUBHCORE does not use the admin's or studio's Stripe Connect account as the general recipient when the appointment is assigned to a specific artist.
Stripe Connect is optional. If you don't want to use online deposits, you can keep managing appointments by setting the deposit to €0.
Before requesting a deposit, always check that the appointment is assigned to the correct artist. The deposit is directed based on the assigned artist.
